Alliteration using the Thesaurus

  I wanted a lesson ┬áthat used the Thesaurus that was fun to do and I came up with this one. To make the book, trim off the margins on the dotted lines.   Stack the pages together and staple in the middle to make the mini-book.   Each page has a word to look up in the thesaurus. Students find a synonym and then think of an animal that starts with the same letter. Then they draw a picture of the animal in the box.
